SNOWMOBILING...

the ultimate vacation/adventure/sport. Nearly every year my dad and a group of friends and family takes a trip out to West Yellowstone, Montana, the snowmobiling capitol of the world. It's hard to describe the speed and handling of the "sleds". Comparing them to a jet-ski would be like comparing a Mustang to a Lamborghini. Josh is taking his first trip with us this year. Not only are we on sleds that will go up to 100 mph in the snow, but we will be riding through some of the world's most beautiful scenery untainted by men. God's majesty is so evident in the mountains that it can be overwhelming.
Along with snowmobiles and landscape, we have a great crew going out this year. There will be more pranks and laughter than ever. I can sense it already. We will be taking a day to explore Yellowstone National Park for all it's natural beauty, including Old Faithful. I am literally bursting with excitement to show Josh all of these places that I've come to love.
I can't go without mentioning my favorite place to eat in the mountains, Phillips Lodge. After riding for a couple of hours in the freezing cold, you start to work up a serious appetite, then out of nowhere a restaurant appears. Warm fire, hot chocolate, and good food seriously hits the spot. I can't leave out The Running Bear restaurant for the early birds who want a good start to their day with some breakfast and coffee.
I am posting a few pictures from my trip two years ago. I also threw in a photo off Phillips Lodge website of the inside of the restaurant.

  2. Hi Jenna,
Sorry to bother you again. This is Caroline, Josh has introduced me to you twice and I got you two gift cards before, and we've tweeted each other before, too (@carolinex3). Josh has been such a sweet guy to me, giving me advice on my life and always looking out for me. Could you PLEASE tell him to look at this post I dedicated to him? I just really need to know that he understands the extent that he's helped me and my life and how thankful I am for all that he's done for me. It would me so much if you would PLEASE pass this on to him, I really need him to know the extent he has impacted my life.
